Susan A. Lowry


Susan concentrates her practice on serving clients in the areas of criminal defense, municipal law, and personal injury. She also practices employment law, specifically focusing on non-compete, non-solicitation, and trade secret matters. She handles cases from any point prior to litigation or criminal charge through trial and any necessary appeals process. In civil matters, Susan is experienced in representing both plaintiffs and defendants, which gives her a broader perspective to meet her clients’ needs. In criminal cases, she is experienced in representing clients with misdemeanor and felony charges, as well as assisting clients with juvenile matters.

Susan received her B.A. in Political Science from St. Olaf College in 2000. She then graduated magna cum laude from Vermont Law School in 2008. During her time in law school, she served as a judicial extern for Justice Denise R. Johnson of the Vermont Supreme Court and Magistrate Judge Robert J. Johnston of the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada.

After law school, Susan had the privilege of working at the New Hampshire Public Defenders’ Office. She then entered private practice, expanding her practice into civil litigation.  Susan is currently admitted to practice in New Hampshire, U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire, and the First Circuit Courts of Appeals.

Susan is currently the president of the Rockingham County Bar Association. She is a member of the Charles C. Doe Inns of Court, the N.H. Association for Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the N.H. Association for Justice. She is also a graduate from the N.H. Bar Association Leadership Academy Class of 2014-2015.
