Jeff Crocker concentrates his practice on estate planning, estate administration, wills, trusts, probate, elder law, business formation and succession planning, and representing clients in residential and commercial real estate transactions. Prior to joining Upton & Hatfield, Jeff spent his entire career, following his admission to the New Hampshire bar in 1979, practicing law with the firm of Tower, Crocker & Smith, P.A. in Jaffrey, NH.
Jeff is a member of the New Hampshire Estate Planning Council, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the New Hampshire Bar Association, and the Cheshire County Bar Association.
As a lifelong New Hampshire resident who recognizes the importance of public service, Jeff has served on many non-profit, professional and governmental boards and committees, including as a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association Ethics Committee, Chair of the New Hampshire Department of Employment Security Appellate Board, Chair of the Monadnock Community Hospital Board of Trustees, Chair of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation, Monadnock Region Board, Chair of the Peterborough Planning Board and Economic Development Committee, and Chair of the Jewish Federation of New Hampshire Board of Directors. His commitment to community earned him TEAM Jaffrey's Outstanding Community Volunteer Award in 2002.
Jeff was also a contributing author for the manual, "A Practical Guide to Residential Real Estate Transactions and Foreclosures in New Hampshire," published by MCLE/New England and used by attorneys throughout New Hampshire.
He currently resides in Peterborough, NH with his wife, Martha, who is a New Hampshire Circuit Court Judge. They have one grown daughter, Alexandra. When he's not working, Jeff enjoys hiking, kayaking, canoeing, sailing, Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, and gardening.
